Best Lens to Upgrade to For a Canon SLR

เขียนโดย Eva | 23:17

For relatively new photographers and digital slr owners it can be confusing when it comes to upgrading your kit lens. There are so many different lenses on the market covering a vast number of focal ranges and apertures that it can be very confusing to work out exactly which one you need.

This article will talk about what kind of things you should consider and will point you in the direction of one option that is little discussed about but has long been proved to be one of the best lenses out there as well as one of the cheapest!

You have so many decisions to make when trying to decide which lens to spend you money on. In my opinion the main thing you should look for in a lens is a wide aperture (or a low f number). A wide aperture give your two main benefits: firstly it lets a lot of light into the camera allowing you to take great shots in low light conditions without having to use the flash and secondly it lets you shoot with a cery shallow depth of field. A shallow depth of field lets you blur out backgrounds making close up or portrait shots stand out more and seem sharper.

Personally I feel that too many people place too much emphasis on aesthetics and certainly too much on zoom. After all why buy a lens with a huge zoom when you can zoom with your feet. OK  some specialist photographers require a zoom (say for photographing tigers) however I would much rather get a higher quality lens with less zoom than the other way round.

In my opinion the best bet for a kit lens upgrade is the Canon 50mm f1.8. It is the cheapest lens Canon sell, the worst built, the lightest, the noisiest to focus but the optics inside produce absolutely stunning results.

เขียนโดย Eva | 02:55

In the battle without end digital camera Canon has released the latest improvements in the series successful entry-level SLR, the Digital Rebel T1i. The previous owner of the XSi and owners is not so recent and XT XTi may wonder if it's time for an update. Well, not really.

Sure, Live View, a large LCD display, and faster FPS can seem enticing, but is it really worth it? What is really here for you? More bells and whistles, orbetter pictures? Personally, when I go to update, it will be something substantial. Something that I can better improve the shooting, and my skills as a photographer. Allow me to illuminate.

If you own a Canon Rebel, probably because they were the poor results of the first steps was tired with the point and shoot compact cameras. This is generally to be the buyer Canon Rebel. They felt as SLR was the last opportunity to take photos. TheirPockets were not deep, but they wanted to make better pictures.

Now spend a decent compact camera with a reflex in the line of Rebel, a quantum leap in technology and skill levels. Anyone who has done his, probably took the best picture, and I learned much more about photography in this process. Unfortunately, from a Rebel XT T1i, usually give the same experience. You should look at moving at least a 40D and 30D.

She is being challenged by a Rebel SLR inSemi-Pro Arena and better the 40D cameras. These cameras will make for the best picture, but does not improve without an extra effort for you, your photo skills.

These cameras also have the added advantage that are harder and more durable. "The serve a little 'more in various areas of photography are suggested. Expect significant improvements in the ISO and measure.

Once this step in Semi-Pro 30DS and better all the accessories that you are at the topcompatible. Meaning, when you get a better camera on the Cannon Street can follow the lenses, filters and tools.

In view of eternal misery "upgradeitis" that many cameras geeks themselves in a shot to save money for the next update. Of course, really do not know that the money you save, you can use only to fall into a really nice new lens to go with this camera upgrade.

Canon Digital Rebel XT vs XTi or XSi Upgrade

เขียนโดย Eva | 04:16

Now that Canon is the newest addition, is issued to the popular Digital Rebel lineup, the XSi, many current Rebel XT or XTi owners are probably wondering about the upgrade. The short answer is. . . not! Not really worth. Sure, Live View, a large LCD display, and faster FPS can seem enticing, but is it really worth it? What is really here for you? More bells and whistles, or better pictures? Personally, when I go to update, it will be something thatsignificant. Something that I can better improve the shooting, and my skills as a photographer. Allow me to illuminate.

Canon Digital all the rebels are in fact only the entry model digital SLR cameras. These include the XT, XTi, and XSI. Do not get me wrong, the cameras are really great and provide an excellent bridge for those who made the no-brainer simple world of point and shoot photos, which are rendered beautifully on the quality of pro SLR photography to move.Canon has probably done a better job of filling this gap. Better than any other camera manufacturers like Nikon, Olympus and Sony. My point is, if you really want to go through a reflex better, then raise your sights a little 'more, and have a look at the Canon EOS 30D and Canon EOS 40D. And not only challenge you to improve your photography, but also to produce pictures better.

In a general model in the chain of Canoncommand, you get any additional benefits. Move up to a 30D or 40D camera offers a full metal. Impact resistant metal bodies are much more durable than the molded plastic found the Digital Rebel lineup. The most delicate and sensitive internal parts of the camera no longer survive longer encased by a shell of metal. In addition, you get better performance ISO, metering and picture control. Also tries to keep in mind that more megapixels is not necessarily a better camera.Especially if the most 5MP.

Another advantage for the Canon 30D and 40D models, is that most accessories work with the 30D and 40D work with cameras further the line models like the Canon 5D. Rebels of accessories in general. In view of eternal misery "upgradeitis" that many cameras geeks themselves in a shot to save money for the next update. Of course you do not necessarily know that the money could be saved, it is onlygoes back in a goal really nice new camera to go with this update;)
